				Cablecard/Prime, Charter Cable Service Down?

I have a server in Madison, WI right now that has every indication of tuning channels, 100% signals, data coming down, but no media actually coming through (in Sage or HDHR's own viewer). The Prime claims that all channels are "Not-subscribed" per the attached.

Not sure how accurate this "down detector" is, but I'm thinking this is a Charter Cable problem in Madison, WI: http://downdetector.com/status/chart...unications/map Anyone else? |

Note: the attachment in the post above is an example of a channel with lower signal strengths, which is typical for this channel, and normally not an issue. Other channels are showing 93 to 100% and exhibiting the same problems as of about 6pm last night.

I've seen this happen 3 times (once one Prime, twice on the other) in the past 6 months where suddenly all my channels showed as not subscribed. Power-cycling the Prime fixed the issue in every case.

Oh yeah. We've been power cycling the battery backup system, shutting everything down including both Prime tuners, still to no avail.

Charter's service must be having problems right now. I can't think of any other possible reason. With the amount of red on that map for Charter services, I'm surprised we don't see any California users with issues. |
