Preserving Watched Status with Relocated Media

I'm rebuilding my SageTV system (in fact, I'm virtualizing it) and I need to relocate my imported media, but I'd like to preserve watched status.

My current [physical] system uses local storage, but UNC paths (i.e. \\HTPC\Movies). The new virtualized SageTV system will still be called \\HTPC, but the storage will now be located under \\Media (so movies would be in \\Media\Movies).

Is there any way I can make this change and preserve watched status for my imported content?

Something you can try...

In BMT Web UI, if navigate to a view, like, All Movies, then in the Batch Operations drop down menu, there is "Export .properties". This is will forcefully create/update a .properties for each media item. A field (that I added) to the properties is X-Watched=true|false. So, when you re-import the media, provided that Phoenix or BMT is installed, it should read that field and update the watched status accordingly.

Thanks - I always thought that was just for recordings and not imported videos, but I see it handles both.
