Jar conflict when installing v9

I installed the lucene-core-3.6.0.jar file in the JARS folder and SageTV v9 would not start: java.lang.NoSuchFieldError: LUCENE_36.
If I remove lucene-core-3.0.1.jar from the JARS folder then Sage starts but I get a message: warning-Plugin Missing Installed File.
I don't know which plugin uses this but does that mean that I can only upgrade to v9 without this plugin?

Stuckless has a decent write up for what you're seeing that I'll quote below:

Without getting into what Lucene does, it was only used in Phoenix for DVDProfiler and MyMovies metadata lookups (which no one uses). So to make things a little easier to move to the open source version, I removed Lucene, and in turn, the DVDProfiler and MyMovies integrations form Phoenix.

Short story... nothing to worry about
Of course, the plugin manager being what it is in Sage, just because the dependency was removed from plugin ____, doesn't mean that the previously installed(and no longer needed) dependencies were removed, that would need to be done manually.

So basically you have leftovers from an older install of Phoenix, and that is what is causing your issue.

So should I uninstall Pheonix and then reinstall it?
Would that fix the issue?

Just remove the lucene library plugin.

After you've updated Phoenix to the newest version that is not dependent on the Lucene Plugin, otherwise it won't let you remove it.

This is what I currently have...
Phoenix Core Services version 2.5.13
Phoenix API version 2.5.13
Lucene Core version 3.0.1

I was able to uninstall Lucene Core plugin.
Was that what I was suppose to do? And am I fine with my version of Phoenix?

If you were able uninstall Lucene Core, then you should be good. Phoenix no longer requires it.
