Hello Denali, My key is valid, but it is a very old key. I purchased it sometime in 2008. All my firewall settings will allow access to the ports that sage uses. I think it is what Fuzzy said, I need to wait till narfex gets my key enabled.

well this is what I've tried so far, I've got HIP to work, and brought up the configuration but now I'm having problems setting the remote to hip, maybe if I uninstall it and reinstall it could work. What you think am I wasting time trying to fool with hip?

I switched from HIP to EventGhost myself. It worked better for what I wanted it to do.

Never tried to blast to two STBs with EventGhost. I used it to receive input for multiple programs and blast to my TV and 1 STB. I used it to switch SageTVClient between multiple SageTV servers and TMT primarily. Since I bought my HD300s from Opus4 I have been using them instead. I did have to put a delay on my SERVER in the living room so that EventGhost didn't try to access my USB-UIRT before it was initialized by Windows - used a batch file to start EventGhost that has a delay in it that runs at boot up when that user automatically logs in.

I don't have a USB UIRT I have a USBCIR. If I had the UIRT I wouldn't need any program because sage can handle it. I'm using a eHome infrared transceiver. The hardware is made by hp

You are very much correct with that statement. However I did have sometime point me in the right direction and I've got some bugs to work out but found this third party software that works great, note the fact I still got some bugs to work out, but it is working. When I get home later I'll post the web site, but this software is named LM. Works great when you get it going, and the set up is fairly simple. Here is the web site: http://www.lmgestion.net/@en-us/4/22/60/article.asp
