'NO SIGNAL' with Placeshifter
I have successfully compiled and installed V9 in Ubuntu. I connected to it with Placeshifter version 7.1.9 in Windows 10. It found my HDHomerun tuners, scanned the OTA channels and downloaded the EPG data. So far, all good. When I select a channel to watch I get the 'NO SIGNAL' message. Using a smartphone app I can see that the tuner changed to the correct channel in the HDHomerun with 100% quality and it is streaming to the IP address of my server.
Here's a snippet from the log where I think it's failing. Code:
Thu 8/27 11:50:08.329 [main@17f6480] detect 3 Thu 8/27 11:55:56.854 [MediaServerConnection@29140152] Error in MediaServerConnection of :java.io.EOFException Thu 8/27 11:55:56.855 [MediaServerConnection@29140152] java.io.EOFException Thu 8/27 11:55:56.855 [MediaServerConnection@29140152] at sage.MediaServer$Connection.readLineBytes(MediaServer.java:239) Thu 8/27 11:55:56.855 [MediaServerConnection@29140152] at sage.MediaServer$Connection.run(MediaServer.java:956) Thu 8/27 11:55:56.855 [MediaServerConnection@29140152] at sage.Pooler$PooledThread.run(Pooler.java:252) |

Hi,
It might not be the same for Ubuntu, but when I rebuilded my last SageTV server (Windows 7) I was getting the same issue until I went into the HDHomeRun driver (on the server) and tell it that SageTV was to be used, it had defaulted to Windows Media center. Hope it can help. |

Look at the file size as well of what you're trying to play back...that'll tell you if the problem is in playing or recording (i.e. if there's no data in the file, then it's on the recording side of things)

If your Ubuntu SageTV server is 64-bit that is a known problem that is being worked on. There are some x86/x64 compatibility problems that have to be worked out. Everything currently works correctly from a 32-bit Ubuntu installation.

OK I'll wait for a bit. The HDHomerun setup software no longer has SageTV as an option.
