HD-PVR Brightness & Contrast Setting Question

Can I alter the brightness and contrast setting for an HD-PVR from within SageTV instead of using Arcsoft TME app? I am having a problem where the TME program crashes on launch (Yes, SageTV is has been exited and was not running as a service).

Reason I ask is because after a recent power-down of everything, HD-PVR recordings are looking a little "solarized" and black backgrounds are too grey.

At this point I don't want to mess with my Sage server with re-installs of programs and such, so if I can do something from within Sage properties, I'd rather do that. And honestly, it's been so long since I fiddled with any HD-PVR settings, I can't remember if I ever changed them from within Arcsoft or Sage.

There is a thread somewhere with the info for this. Had the same problem about 2 years ago.

Ooops

And after a bit of checking around, I also found on a different forum the suggestion that Catalyst Control Center might be overriding my playback settings on video players on my laptop. I realized that nothing looked solarized or gray-instead-of-black on my HD200.

Sure enough, several gimmicky settings were enabled by default and B/C were both cranked way too high on my laptop. Disabling the gimmicks and dialing back the B/C improved the picture enormously.

But thank you again for pointing me to that thread I was looking for. I can still make sure my HD-PVR has good settings as well.
