Sage w/ internet radio.
I have been thinking,
I subscribe to musicmatch platinum internet radio (love it), but I think it would be so cool to be able to run 3rd party applications though the sage interface... wouldn't internet radio be cool through sage... I know there would probably be some legal issues w/ the dmca , riaa , etc.. but I wish someone could come up with a way to do it, or if its done, give me some more info. Just thought I would voice ...or type rather my thoughts. , cc

why would we need a third party application
I have seen plenty of free internet radio stations currently I hope if they do or someone does integrate internet radio, they would consider doing an FM radio application first |

I have Sirius satalite radio and they provide web feeds for all their music channels. I am working on intergration with my htpc now. Unfortunately they use a crappy web based java player(it does use windoes media player though) with security tokens to keep non subscribers from stealling it.
Also XM has a radio that connects to your PC via usb and [lays through your PC. I am not too sure how great the contol app is or if it provides api's. |
