Auto-Logon to Windows & Misc Stuff

Hi....

Got my system pretty much up and running. Would like some advice on a few items:

1. To have access to my network a password is required. Is there a hack or utility that can make XP Pro automatically login and use a specific password so that, after a power failure, SageTV can come back up?

2. How do I change the visualization on music playback?

3. Why won't the screen saver come on during music playback?

Thanks,

Stacy

Autologon - From the Run box, enter "control userpasswords2" select the desired user, and then uncheck the box "Users must enter..."

Sorry can't help you with the rest, I've never used Sage's music Jukebox.

To my understanding there is only the "one" visualization in sage. Others have requested more, or even importing others but...Im not sure what they came up with.

Hope this helps. ccerj8

I think I can help with question 1 and that you should download powertoys for xp and use TweakUI.

I think the method stanger89 gave only works for non-networked pc's.

If what your trying to do is access a shared drive across a peer to peer network just let it save the password and it should avoid the problem. However, if you have to log in to a domain or something of the sort you are out of luck.

I have it working on my domain. There are some registry keys you need to add/change, but it will work. I don't recall exactly what they are, but a google search should turn up something pretty quick.
