Problems with Sage TV 2.0.20 and Provideo PV259T

I am experiencing the following problems using the Provideo PV259 blackbird card:

Sage TV does not show any video unless I run BeyondTV's setup wizard after every boot. It seems that Sage TV does not set this card up correctly/completely.

I (mostly) also experience a very long delay when changing channels to a empty or very low signal channel. This can be 1 to 2 minutes long. Very occasionally under unrepeatable conditions this delay vanishes. I understand that the version of SageTV that I am using (2.0.20) already has a fix for 10-20s delays using the Roselyn blackbird card.

The provideo card does not come with any s/w so I am using the Elecard MPEG2 decoder. I am also based in South Africa using PAL I. Perhaps the card has not been tested under these conditions yet.

Any ideas?
