Custom online feed caching

Does anyone know if there is any surefire way to tell sagetv not to cache podcasts in online video?

I'm hoping to have a feed that updates a status message.

For each client run it only downloads once and caches.

I've tried using those special feeds of type sagetv/textonly or sagetv/subcategory.

I cannot defeat sageTVs caching strategy!

So stuff is cached but there is a time limit attached

online_video/cache_time_limit=300000


After five minutes I can see the new content.

Not so bad.

It would be cool to be able to reduce that.

Can a server side plugin change properties in existing active clients?

No. If the properties file is open by a running client, only that client can make shanges to it.
