Unhappy Jerky playback and unsharp video in LiveTV for Roslyn card

I have the multi-tuner blackbird bundle and I'm having a problem with the video being jerky in liveTV and recorded playback.

Also the video quality is low.

What might be the problem?

System:
ECS Motherboard
1.2 GHz AMD Duron
256 MB SDRAM
60 GB IBM HD
120 GB Western Digital HD
128 MB GeForce 5200 video card
2 blackbird roslyn pvr cards
I'm using the Elecard MPEG-2

I had a single blackbird (Roslyn) card and also noticed extremely fuzzy pictures on some, primarily analog, cable channels.

I also experience the brightness/contrast adjusting radically within scenes/shots during a show.

Sounds like a known problem. I've a feeling that about half of Roslyn users have been having problems. The claim, circling around the community, is that the drivers are not mature.

I'd recommend either patience or replacing said Roslyns with 250 MCEs. I just got mine and am loving it.
