BMT and music files

I built a new Sage server, reinstalled all plugins and copied over wiz.bin. Ever since I've been having problems with music files. Sage has crashed a few times and I discovered there were thousands of system messages about failed Phoenix lookups. I cleared these and set BMT not to send failed lookup messages anymore to system messages.

1) All of my music files have full tags including cover art and each album folder has a folder.jpg. I see no config in BMT for music, why is BMT trying to look up music data? Phoenix.log is 100meg and timestamped every Sage scan and filled with failed music queries.

2) I assume sage uses the mp3 tags. I had multiple instances of the same artist (ex Kirsty Maccoll and Kirsty MacColl). I found tags with a different artist name in 2 different tag fields. I fixed them all and rescanned. Many did not change after multiple scans after renaming or "touching" the file. I gave up. Now it's a week later and some have fixed themselves. Also, ALL songs has embedded covers as well as folder.jpg in the album folder. Today a few show the generic Sage cd cover. WHY? This also times in with 3.

3) On BMT movie data, why does BMT occasionally loose data? For weeks all of my movies will be fine. Then I'll check on the gui "Missing metadata" view and there will be 10 movies. These are usually familiar and ones where tmdb does not have the film or it is a film with an "also known as". I had looked these up previously most of the time. Why has BMT chosen to discard the old data? I did not rename the files.
