Multiple HDHomeRun Primes?

Is anyone here operating (2) or more HDHomeRun Primes with cablecards and SageDCT? Who is your cable service provider, and does this configuration then require (2) tuning adapters, one for each Prime?

I am using 2 HDHR Prime's, each with a cablecard, with Comcast in the Denver metro area and SageDCT. I do not need to use tuning adapters here.

Thanks, Voorhees. Anyone out there with this configuration on Charter SDV and tuning adapter(s)?

I'm pretty sure it would require 2 tuning adapters. The cablecard and the tuning adapter are paired at the hip via USB, I don't see how two cablecards could request channels from the same TA. Charter doesn't charge for the TA, it's included with the cablecard, so just use two.

Yes I have Charter and 2 Primes. Each prime has its own tuning adapter.

Thanks, folks. With the Ceton PCIe device, the tuning adapter USB plugs into the computer rather than the device itself, so was just wondering if anyone has ever experimented with that, instead of plugging it directly into the Prime (with regard to using only one tuning adapter that is).

The HDHR is not tied to the PC in any way - doesn't even HAVE to have any software on the PC in reality, everything can be done via the web interface. Therefore, the only way to connect the TA is to the HDHR-Prime's USB.

Oh. Interesting. Thanks Fuzzy. The second TA seems fairly painless I guess.
