Sage services crashes after adding 3TB drive

Ok I know this is really weird but I added a 3TB drive attached to a internal SATA connector. It formats fine. I can copy data to and from it but when I add it as a Sage recording drive as soon as Sage tries to record something to the drive the service stops.

In the windows event log it just reports that the service stopped.

Any thoughts on what could cause this? Trying to add a bunch more storage for the Olympics.

Thanks

What OS are you running and what motherboard? What was the drive formatted as? NTFS? Did you try a different SATA connector? Do you have other 3TB drives in this machine?

Maybe see if there are updated drivers for the motherboard?

Running Windows 7 x64. This is the first 3TB drive. I tried using a external USB 3.0 carrier but it does not support 3TB drives so I need to get another one. Not enough room inside the case to support another internal drive so I left the case open and hooked it up to the GBIT motherboard to test it out. I'm ordering a proper enclosure. I did find the crash log from Sage.

It was showing a JAVA error. Need to dig through it more. I attached the log.
