Can you control where the focus goes when Home is pushed?

In Sage (I am talking primarily about extenders but I think this holds for PCs as well) when you press the Home button it takes you to the Main Menu. But is there a way of ensuring that the focus goes to the First menu item?

I want to program some macros that send a key sequence of (Home-Right-Right-Down-Enter) which would select Recorded TV - Kids shows in my setup. That works fine as long as the focus goes to the top menu item when you press Home, but that doesn't always happen.

Or is there another way to jump right to a specific Menu Item like the second option in Recorded TV by mapping it to a key?

edit - After playing around with key mappings I see that there is a setting for SageTV Recordings mapped to Ctrl+Shift+V but it seems to bring up the most recently used TV Recordings screen, but that doesn't solve the problem either if you have several TV Recording screens.

Assuming you are on SageTV V7 and are not opposed to plugins.

You could check out ADM and then map the Recorded TV - Kids as a menu item on the Main Menu.

If you have Gemstone, ADM functionality already exists.

Also with ADM, you can change what the "Default" is for sub-menus, that might work for you also.

Perhaps try pressing Home and then PageUp (or Channel up likely)...I think that should force you to be at the top of the menu.

Thanks - I think that will do the trick as with PageUp, unlike with Up arrow, it doesn't scroll down to the bottom.
