Playon/Netflix issue

Everyone,

I have been using Playon just to get Netflix in Sage for the last year or so. Playon recently updated from 3.6 to 3.7 in order to fix the newer Netflix login stuff. I updated Playon and things worked well for a bit.

Now when I use Netflix through Playon, it doesnt work. I get the "File no longer exists" error message in Sage. I have tried the Android Playon client without any luck as well - it just eventually times out. This is NOT a problem with the Sage Playon plugin.

Note that I can play the CNN Playon channel just fine in Sage and in the Android client (that is the only other channel I tried).

Does anyone know of dependencies that exist for Playon/Netflix that do not exist for the CNN channel? I am just looking for brainstorming to help me find the issue.

I'm running 3.7.14.5762 and not seeing any issues. There is a newer version and I was just about to update when I saw your post. Now I'm hesitant

I'm using 3.7.15.5954 and Netflix seems to work normally for me.

This has been resolved - Playon/netflix requires IE8 or higher to be installed. I never update anything on my HTPC so I was on IE7 - at some point recently, they stopped supporting IE7.
