Missing ESPN

Hey all... I am running a 4 tuner system on v2.0 -- 3 tuners via local basic cable (up to channel 100) and 1 tuner via DirecTV. I recently noticed that I am missing ESPN and ESPN2 on the DirecTV portion. They are in the 50's on cable and 206 and 209 (I think) on DirecTV. For some reason, 206 and 209 don't show up in the guide even though they are selected in the channels I receive setup. I've tried unselecting them and reselecting them with no luck. I can't even manually tune to those channels.

Is this because they have the same channel name on both my cable setup and my DirecTV setup? I have lost of duplicate channels that work fine (major networks, food channels, TNT, USA, etc). Thanks for any advice.

Well... I tried removing all ESPN & ESPN2 entries and adding the DirecTV one back. I could then see them in the guide and tune to them. As soon as I added the cable ones back, I lost the DirecTV ones. There's got to be a way to have both?!

Are you sure those single entries aren't referring to the same channel on both sources? Have you tried making sure that something was recording on the cable source & then try to wacth/record something on ESPN/ESPN2 at the same time?

ok try adding them to your cable again
then remove the DirecTV source and then add it again
and see if you get EPSN on analogie and digital

you can try it the other way too
remove the analogue and readd it
you should do it for all tuners though to try to be constant

I hope that works

I have similar problem, I do have dish network and cable receivers, I am unable to see local chanels on my cable box under sage software. I mean when I go to the channel list I have green dot next to them but when I go to channel listing in live programming I do not see them... how can I add them manually so they could be displayed and so that I could tune up to them.

Regards.

Chris
