New Tri-Tuner System-
Hello -
I'm in the process of building a new system and I'd like it to be able to record 2-3 shows at once. My thought is that I'll pick up 1 350 for the svideo out/OSD, and 2 or 3 lower cost cards to record shows. Here are a few questions that I know have been covered, but a quick recape would be nice - 1) Is Sage intelligent enough to have the non-350s do the recording and have all the output directed to the 350's S out? 2) Does it make sense to have the other ones be a 250 for the H/W encoding or is it safe to go with a less expensive ATI w/o the encoding. The machine is going to be a new AMD XP2500 w/200 GB SATA drive. 3) If there are 3 cards, can I record 2 and watch a 3rd that has already been recorded? Can I do this with 2? Thanks much -andy |

#3) Yes you can watch an already recorded show while recording a live show. You can do that if you only have one card (like in my situation). So if you have three tuner cards you should be able to record three things at the same time, while watching something already recorded.
Hope this help. ccerj8
