Channels.com

Any one else find that as of yesterday selecting this from the online section returns "no videos were found" while bringing up the list of categories?

Hasn't been working for me for a while. I rarely use it so I didn't bother to post, but I check it on occasion and it's been out for at least a month or so.

Other than just hacking the Java by hand, is there any way to remove this, Google Video, and the other nonfunctional online menu items?

This is not something that is set up in JAVA, so no JAVA editing required. There are several ways to alter things, depending on your goals.

Option 1: You can edit the choices that appear in the OnLine Video feeds by editing some text files. See this sticky: http://forums.sagetv.com/forums/showthread.php?t=52102

Option 2: You can use Studio to modify the STV and remove the whole online submenu if you want (there is a bit of a learning curve for this, but it is a custom graphical language, not Java).

Option 3: You could install a plugin such as ADM or Gemstone that allows you to modify the menus. ADM runs on top of the standard Sage 7 skin and allows you to create your own custom menu structure, showing, hiding, or grouping things however you like. Gemstone is a complete User Interface replacement that has a version of ADM built-in.
