Flow: View Filters Slow?

In trying to build a flow that shows my kid's TV shows, I couldn't get any of the views to perform on my HD200. It would process on the order of many, many minutes...or seemingly never come back.

I thought it might be the fanart, since there is always so much discussion on that. But the default Movie based flows are always fine on my setup.

I tested and it seemed default TV views were OK, but adding filters (include CHILDREN only) brought the performance down to unacceptable.

Am I doing something wrong? Is this already known? I'm prepared to have missed something here .

Please describe or provide screen shots of the filters you use...there are so many filter options that it is difficult to comment on without more details.
