Play video prior to showing movie
I am thinking of purchasing SageTV and have a question or two.
Does anyone know how to play a random video prior to showing each recorded movie? I was hoping to be able to play trailers downloaded from the Internet before each movie. I would want this prior to playing DVD's and recorded movies. (the DVD option would be harder, due to the DVD menu, but perhaps . . . .)

I guess this isn't possible. Nobody has responded.
Disappointing. hmmm . . . wonder if BTV allows this? Anyone know of a solution for this request?

Like falchulk said, it's probably possible with Studio, mlbdude has already implimented playlist functionality into his STV. Playlisting would seem to be the primary requirement for playing trailers. Perhaps you should throw a request in for that functionality in the mlbdude's STV thread in the Sage Customizations forum.

also should it not be possible with girder and HTPC
sounds like it would complicated but I would think you could do it
