Streamzap Remote Question??

Hey Guys,

Im using the streamzap remote, with my digital cable. I wan't to know if there is an easy way to get a button to act as my digital cables button "Clear" so that when changing channels that I can quickly clear the bottom crawler guide??

Any Ideas??

If you're controlling your digital box by USB-UIRT there's something in the USB-UIRT thread about adding a command to send after each channel change. It's menat to be used for systems that need an"Enter" to change channels, but you can just teach Sage the IR code for clear(if you don't need enter, which most don't).

If your using serial control I have no idea as my crappy cable company won't enable my box's port(even though it meets all the neccessary specs.)

as for you second post... I never watch live TV sorry.

There is a "Previous Channel" command that will do what it says & will also switch to the previous recording watched -- it isn't just for live TV.

Check the last page of your SageTV installation manual -- if that command isn't already linked to a button, you would have to do it yourself.

There is a PDF file in your SageTV directory & look through the FAQ thread (link below) for a link to all the messages/commands. I don't know anything about the StreamZap, though.
