Netgear WNDR 3700
I think I have read problems with this router and WHS v1.

Does this translate to placeshifter problems ?

I cannot connect to it, even though the test checks out fine (UPnP)

Hmm,

looks like I manually added the forward on my router and it worked (I think)

If you're having problems look at running DD-WRT on that router. Much better than the default firmware.
