"Craziness" on playback of HD-PVR files
I've been having rather random playback problems with captures made from one of my HD-PVR devices. This is on a Windows XP system. I have two HD-PVRs installed on this system, but I think the problem is specific two only the first device.
Here's what happens: about one out of every three captures the time scroll and playback speed are all messed up. I hit play and the video flies by, with no audio. Sometimes the capture starts up and skips to the last 30 seconds or so of the capture and I can stop and/or rewind and then view the capture. Sometimes when those things happen the capture cannot be viewed at all; if I rewind it goes to the start, then jumps to the end and displays the "Deletion Options" dialog. Anyone see or have any idea about this behavior? |
