I am not sure about that. It seems select Samsung TV's have that support as well. And supposedly most TV's recently manufactured.

I have a samsung that it seems to work with, but my sharp does not work with the protected content.

Anybody heard anything about the HDHR4 status? Its been 7 months since we first heard about it.

I saw a message on the SD forums that their model numbers have changed:

HDHR4 = gen4 native streaming.
HDTC4 = gen4 with multi-stream HD hardware transcode (native streaming also supported).

But I have not been able to find an ETA anywhere..
