Advise for new system

I am in the process of buying a new single focus (multi media only) pc. I will be purchasing the SageTV Multi-Tuner "Blackbird" Bundle. I'd like a small footprint, as this pc will reside with my other multi media devices (receiver and tv). I want to use the pc for:
- recording and viewing at the same time
- playing dvds
- for internet radio
- remote control
- s-video and/or composite video out

I know I need a large drive, and optical digital sound out.

My question is if you were putting together this system, what would components (hardware and OS) would be ideally compatible with Sage or is there a manufactured pc that provides a good starting point.

FYI, the multi-tuner(2 Roslyns) bundles were temporalily pulled due to issues on some systems. See this thread for info and Frey's official response.
