I just tried to force an EPG update this morning and it's back to saying that the next update is in 0 hours. Sounds like things are having problems again.

It's broken again.
So I just got my cablecards activated again. When trying to add the EPG to it I use the existing zip code or put in a new one and it acts like it is contacting the server but comes back with no listings to pick from. Gerry

I received my very first EPG system warning this afternoon. It looks like I have good data through Jan. 21st before it switches over to "No Data".

I'm told this should be fixed again. And, we've been keeping a closer watch to more quickly catch anything in case the servers continue to have issues as they try to catch up from the previous problems.

I just got one of these error messages this afternoon - I assume this is related to other EPG server problems in the other threads in this forum?

I am in the same boat as ptzink, where I received my very first EPG system warning today. I am also out to 5:30 on Jan 21st, and changes to "no data".

Same issue here. Lots of channels showing "No Data" in random time slots. Next EPG Update in 0 hours...

Chiming in that this has effected my system as well. The whole EPG is 'No Data' for all channels, dates and time slots.

That had me sweating. I turned on the TV and said, "What the heck is a green dot?" I checked it and then came here. This is the first time I've had a Zap2It availability issue and I've had Sage many, many years.
I just forced a guide update and everything was fine. Glad it was a temporary thing. |

My EPG data only goes to the 13th? And adding a new channel gets me "No Data". Starchoice West?

WDSI-DT on my OTA lineup only has out to the middle of the 18th, but that's more than it had the last few times I've checked. WDEF-DT updated program details. That's good. Looks like things are getting sorted.
Thanks, Jeff, et al.

I forced an EPG update this morning and am getting one more day of data than I was getting yesterday. So all seems to be updating fine on my end. As a side note, I do have problems with sporting events (NFL playoff games) not updating with most recent teams. I found a work around to this issue by temporarily disabling the channel and then re-enabling it, but wonder if recent server issues would affect this.

How is that done? I know how to do it one-channel-at-a-time, but how do I do it for the entire channel lineup? thanks

You can do it via the webserver, if you have that installed. I'm not sure how to do it from inside SageTV.

I think removing a channel and then enabling it again kicks it off also.
