Random playback stops on extenders and client, possibly network related?
Files will randomly stop during playback from either an hd300 or a pc client. Only changes are a new TP Link TL-SG1024D Unmanaged Gigabit network switch because I needed more ports. Also recently reinstalled my r5000 dish boxes, but I believe this is happening with files from other sources as well.
Also have noticed that access to the sage web server has gotten extremely slow from inside the network, which is why I'm suspecting the new switch. When I have time, I will put the old switch back in and see if anything changes. In the meantime, is there anything I can test? Never really had issues with internal bandwidth issues, not sure where to start.

Because of the timing, it does sound like the switch, but plan on something else! You could have damaged a cable (connector) or something like that. I've had bad/poor switches, but never new ones, but it can happen.
You MIGHT try turning off all "computers", then the router and switches and modem. Turn on Modem, let it stabilize/connect, turn on Router, let it stabilize/connect, then switch and then "computers". This will clear any old routing data, but I don't think that's the issue. I'd also check to see every thing gets it's own IP address.
