SageDCT/HDHR Prime tuners become unavailable once every few weeks
I recently upgraded to an Intel motherboard/cpu, re-installed windows 7 Pro 64 bit, SageTV, SageDCT 2.6 and everything works great, except once in a while my HDHR Prime tuners become unavailable. They do become available after a re-boot. Is anyone else experiencing this problem? Not sure how often, but it has happened 3 times in the past 2-3 months. Not often enough for major concern, however, I did not have this problem previously.
I have two HDHR Primes and two HDHR's, Intel DZ75ML-45K motherboard, core i3 3220 cpu and content provider is Verizon FIOS. |

Just asking, but does this only happen with "Live TV" or after the recording is finished? (Hoping it might point to something)

I forgot to mention that when this problem happens, all six cablecard tuners become unavailable (2 x HDHR Primes).
I've never noticed a tuner disappear while watching TV. It has always seems to happen during the day when kids are at school, wife is out and I am at work. One of us returns home to find that we can't watch any cable channels - and the recording conflict icon appears at the top of the Sage menu. By the way, my four HDHR (Antenna) tuners have never disappeared. One minor thing I did not mention is that previously, I was using an older version of SageDCT (2.2, I believe) and now I am using SageDCT 2.6 (x64). Also, I changed from an Intel gigabit CT NIC card to an on-board Intel 82579V ethernet controller chip. Drivers look the same and I have tuned them for optimal operation (no Interrupt Moderation, max rx, tx, buffers, etc). |
