3D acceleration wont enable
I have an EPIA itx motherboard with built in TV out (composit and sVideo). I also use a 350PVR card for my normal Sage UI. Sage will not let me enable 3d hardware acceleration. I have VMBR9 selected. Do I care?

Yes you care. Your EPIA will not do vmr9. Switch to overlay. There is also no real reason to enable 3d acceleraion unles you want to use the video as background it the menus (this is not real transparancy).

Ok, I have video as the background working fine. Can you explain what VMR9 vs overlay is? I only selected VMR9 cause it sounded better ...

The onboard video on the Epia does not handle vmr 7 or 9 very well. Even VMR7 is a slideshow. You likely have only one slot in your system (very few have more) with the PVR card in it. If so your stuck with overlay. If you are just using it as a client you are better off because you can throw a better video card in there.

It is my PVR system. I have a Happauge 350 in the one slot. So I should select just overlay? I guess the system is doing that anyway since I dont have 3d accel enabled?
