Best capture card for me? 9800Pro=>HDTV via VGA

I am using a 9800Pro to drive a Pioneer Elite HDTV via VGA. I have a junky Leadtek capture card (Deluxe) now. I want to get a new caputre card and Sage, but I'm not sure what the big difference is between the PVR-250 and the 350. The main thing I have heard is that the 350 can do the OSD via the TV out. I dont need that though because Im driving the picture through the HDTV like a monitor. Is there anything I am missing? Thanks in advance.

FYI - 250s are everywhere. compusa, amazon, etc. Just keep looking around until you get the best price.

EDIT: Sorry, just read that you want to get 250+Sage; first time I saw that thought it read 250 for sage. Bundle is cheaper...

get the roslyn blackbird bundle
why you want a retail pvr 250?

the roslyn is the same thing but has added hardware so it can capture AVI as well
the AVI capture ids currently not supported in sage though

also get the bundle with a remote
since the blackbird pvr 250s do not come with one

also sage here sells stuff

also pm pcalchemy he is a member or email him and see if there is anyway to get you one ASAP

Is there anyway to get Roslyn tuners sperate? or do I have to buy them all in one she-bang. I haven't seen them offered seperately (I think Hauppy wants it like that.) I would just like to get one now and maybe through 1-2 more later once get a couple monsters disks online. I would hate to have to rebuy sage just to get those cards.

Thanks for all your info and help!

there are some posts you may want to take a look at though about the roslyns

they have been left recently

they appear just to be small drivers issues and will probably be corrected quickly like when the pvr 250s were new
but you may want to see what the issues are

the retail pvr 250s have been around longer and the drivers are mostly sorted out

http://forums.freytechnologies.com/f...&threadid=5938

http://forums.freytechnologies.com/f...&threadid=5946

http://forums.freytechnologies.com/f...&threadid=5760

also remember there are probably many that have no problems we just do not know cause they have not posted with any

good luck and do not know where to get more roslyns
maybe the BTV pvr 250s are sold without software
from snapstream.com I think

the BTV pvr 250s are roslyns just given a stupid name by that company

also I posted a 10 $ off coupon in here
http://forums.freytechnologies.com/f...&threadid=5967

and BeyondTV may be a little cheaper but there are reasons for that ( cough* crappy video playback)
