Wierd recording using Favorites

Hi all, something wierd happened to my favorites recording yesterday and I can not think of anythink that would have caused it. I must note that this was the first time I have scheduled a show using favorites so it is possibly an error on my part. Anyway, I selected a show to be my favorite--Berenstain Bears (haha its for my wife when she works out). The only showtimes for this show is 9:00am-9:30 weekdays according to both the guide and the additional airings in the favorites page. When I got home and wanted to see if it worked I got a whopping 15 gig file that was about 8 hours long!!!!!! I have no idea how I could have messed this up this bad and why it would keep recording like that. Any thoughts. When I get back this afternoon I will see if it did the same thing. I actually changed the config in the favorites so it will only record shows in the 9:00-10:00am timeslot and hopefully this will help but I should not have to do this I believe.
