HD-200's consistently turning off
I've had two HD-200's in my system for a few years now, and starting about 6 months ago, they both just started turning off fairly regularly. This almost never happens while I'm watching video, but if I leave them idle for any length of time, they shut down. This is frustrating.
It's a pretty basic system setup, I have a wireless router with two things plugged into it, a switch and an HD-200. The switch then has a PC (the sage server), another network Device (AMX, unrelated to this stuff), and the second HD-200. That's it, other than a few wireless devices. The wireless router has reserved an IP address for the PC, and assigns everything else randomly via DHCP.
I was also having serious issues with the menus being super slow to browse, and occasionally freezing, but I fixed that by changing the network speed settings on the network card from auto to 100mbps. I've also changed the Java heap size to 1024. Nothing seems to be making a difference with them shutting down randomly.
Any ideas? Things I should look for? More information I should've provided but didn't because I'm mildly ignorant? Thanks for your help!
