Missing channels in TV Guide
I have been evaluating SageTV and BeyondTV and so far i am really liking Sage. But I have a problem and i cannot find an answer in 22 page manual, Frey website or here...
I am using cable TV as my input and i configured Sage with my zip code and cable package. This worked except that 3 channels (at least 3 that i use) are missing. My cable package has every channel up to 69 but in the TV guide for Sage there is no 66 or 68 but there is a 67. How do i add 66 and 68? I cant even tune them in with the remote by hand. Any ideas how to fix this? PS- Less important but there is a second problem. The TV guide is showing the wrong conent for 65 - the guide is showing 1 channel but the cable is showing a different one. This is less important than my missing channels though. |

This sounds like an EPG data issue. I would follow the instructions in this post by dkardatzke and report this as a problem.

For the missing channels, you could try going to Setup -> Channel Setup & try enabling the channels to see if you can then receive them.

It appears that if its not in the TV Guide, you cannot watch it. I would consider this a defect to the TV guide method. Teh completely free winTV software included with Hauppauge cards actually scans frequencies to get stations. I would prefer it if Sage scanned teh source for channels and then matched that with the TV guide but im sure there is some super complicated mind blowing reason why this is not the case. |

I am having precisely the same problem, albeit with different channels. I am using DirecTV in Denver, and have set up SageTV correctly, yet I don't get channels 4, 7, and 9 in the LiveTV Guide.
I don't buy it being an EPG issue. The aforementioned channels show up in channel setup, and I enable all channels. Yet when I go to view the live tv guide, these channels are conspicuously missing and I can't tune to them. |

are the channels of 4,7 and 9 listed more than once under another channel number
because it may only show the channel once are you sure their is a green dot beside the channel numbers in the channel setup? |

Thanks for the tip! Disabling the duplicate channels appears to have fixed this. -LM |
