SageTV and DirectTV
I have been testing SageTV 2.0 and like it so far. However one of my issues is that if I turn off my Sat reciever and start SageTV the SAT reciever doesn't power on. I have to manually turn the SAT receiver on. Is or will there be a fix or is this just the way it is?

I'm right up with you guys, both DirecTV receivers haven't been shut down for over a year. I have each of them, plus their SageTV systems, hooked up to UPS systems. So even if the power is out in the house, I'm still recording.

Wow ... I didn't think anyone actually turned off the sat box by choice. I'm not sure how long mines been on. I'd say the one upstairs has been on for at least 3 years ... maybe more .. .it's on a UPS and I can't recall the power ever going out long enough to bring it down.
