If you are using the PlayOn plugin there is a bug that resets the STV back to an earlier version which will almost certainly cause YouTube videos to not play. Uninstall the PlayOn plugin and then make sure you are running the latest STV update.

If I disable the Playon plugin using Gemstone, Youtube works. Which is odd as we are using our own Gemstone version of the STV that has the latest youtube fix included in it.... Seems Playon related though.

Anyone else having trouble with Youtube videos today? Getting "Error: The requested media file was not found on the server" on all videos using the latest STV on both Windows client and HD300.

I watched the BSG Blood and Chrome series 1-2 weeks ago and didn't have any problems, and I don't 'think' I've changed any settings in SageTV since.

Not working for us either. i had updated, and it was working again up until this afternoon, about 2pm PST. Stopped in the middle of a video, hasn't worked since. internet is fine, as is youtube from a browser.

same here - however, it DID let me play ONE video from the 'most viewed' column, which was the first one I tried. After that video played, all others from any category showed the same denial everyone else has received, aka 'media file not on server'

What's weird is the Youtube videos work fine with the PC client, but not on the HD300's.

My PC client does the same thing as my extenders. Once in a while ill get lucky and get a video that's playable. Are you consistently able to playback youtube videos with the sagetv PC client?

I imagine the fact that Google Videos aren't working either is of no surprise to anyone? My TiVos are still accessing and playing YouTube videos AOK...

I thought they were both related to the same problem. I've been having to download the youtube/google videos using my PC; then, importing them into sageTV as a temporary solution.
