Angry How To Get Radio to WORK with SageTV/BlackBird BUNDLE???

I recently bought the SageTV/Blackbird bundle from the Sage TV webstore: LINK TO PURCHASED PRODUCT BUNDLE

I recently found out from Hauppauge Customer Support that the software on their webpage (LINK TO RADIO SOFTWARE) will NOT run on Sage's Blackbird cards.

Does anyone know how to get the Radio on the Hauppauge Blackbird card to WORK?????............

Are you sure you even want to? If you are playing the radio, the radio sound w/o a picture is all you will get in a TV recording. It isn't very useful unless you know a recording won't start any time soon. The tuners are not completely independent: you can't use FM and TV at the same time.

My goal is to get the Radio to to work that's inherent in this Hauppauge Blackbird card.

My goal is to listen to FM radio on this card with my PC Audio card while I surf the internet.

I had the Leadtek WinTV2000 card prior to this and I had no problems using that card with FM Radio function it supported.

Does anyone have any suggestions?..................

Hi,
Thanks for the advice. Who's Jeff?......

So you're saying that the 250MCE drivers could work? I tried the Hauppauge radio drivers from their website to no avail........Does that mean you suggest I buy the retail 250MCE use the drivers and then return the box?........

Jeff the person who wrote SageTV
No the drivers for 250MCE don't work on Blackbird card but 250MCE dose have a working WinTV Radio.
I ref to Windows XP MCE Blackbird drivers but I find out they will not work with WinTV Radio.
I did find out there is an internal audio output connector in place unfortunately some "OEMs", like Frys and SnapStream didn't "ask" for the connector, So that analog audio what look like older CD output on upper rigth hand coner of the board just a matter soldering a few wires and your in buissness and should be able to use any FM player out there.
I think this rigth pin order look at board
1-2-3-4
L-LG-RG-R
L = Left
LG = LeftGround
RG = RigthGround
R = Rigth

As I under stand the Blackbird that have no internal audio output connector or don't wish sorlder one on it would be done thur GraphEdit in the same way as Recording or PerViewing MPEG but with FM Tuner enable in stead of TV Tuner.
kind look like this below but with out video being pined
You can get GraphEdit on www.shspvr.com under GraphEdit

We do not offer support for the FM Radio at this time. This is functionality we plan to add for the future but is not yet available.

Dan,
It would be great that you offer this FM support to Sage 2.0 sooner rather than later as many of us value very highly the FM radio function that is inherent in this card and Sage bundle you sell on your website............

FM support internal to SageTV would at least solve the problem of FM usage interfering with TV recording, since SageTV could shut the radio off when a TV recording is to start.

I use a separate radio tuner anyway so I can always use it w/o screwing up the recordings.

Have you tried all the generic FM radio software apps out there for TV tuner cards like VCRadio or ChrisTV.
Both of those programs access the FM radio on the PV258T which is a Blackbird card. The only issue maybe that you will have to use an app that sends the audio through direct sound rather than from the audio out if you don't have an audio output on your card.
