Dish Network Hopper with HD PVR/Sage TV

I'd like to be able to use my HD PVR and Sage TV setup together with the new Dish Network Hopper receiver (which has both HDMI and component outputs):

http://dishuser.org/hopper.php

But, I'd like to be able to use this single Hopper receiver, simultaneously: (1) to view shows on my hd tv, and (2) to record shows to my computer via HD PVR/Sage TV. Is this possible? If not, is there any other way of accomplishing both television viewing and computer recording of content from a common Dish Network receiver?

Incidentally, both my computer, 27" monitor, and computer peripherals as well as my 46" television share the same desk/entertainment center furniture "unit" (this is in my rv, where the monitor [which is on a motorized lift] is in front of the tv on a common desktop).

Thanks for any help.

Not from one receiver, you need two independent outputs to do that. The only boxes I'm aware of that can do that are the x22 boxes (722, 522, 322, etc) that have a second room output, although I believe that second room is only SD on those.

What could work is if you used a Joey, you could record off the main box (or presumably the Joey) while watching TV on the other.

Thanks very much for this helpful suggestion, which sounds like an excellent solution. While the Joey, I think, only has HDMI and composite video out, but not component out (so could not be used for HD video recording with the HD PVR), yet since it does have HDMI output, it sounds like I could connect from the Joey to my (primary) tv by HDMI cable, and from the Hopper to my HD PVR by component cable.

In this scenario, both the Hopper box and this Joey box would be located in my desk/entertainment center, adjacent to one another, being adjacent as well both to my main tv, and, my computer/HD PVR.

I would then also have an additional Joey box located in the bedroom of our rv, which would be used simply to provide tv service only (by hdmi) to the tv in that location.

Does it seem that I understand things correctly here, as rehearsed above, and by these means should I indeed be able, simultaneously, both to view (on tv) and HD PVR-record programming from these Dish network devices (namely, the Hopper, and Joey)?
