BMT and Metadata changing
So I have BMT installed. And I want to use it so that Plex pulls from that and then all my files should display the same both locations. Problem is my BMT metadata keeps shifting. For example I record Lego Ninjago: Masters of Spinjitzu for my sons. Sometimes it records as Ninjago: Masters of Spinjitzu. So naturally I want all the recordings to be together so I modfiy them in BMT and then they all group up nicely. But then after awhile, i think it may be when I restart the server, the recordings go back to being separate with their names reverting. And of course when plex sweeps through it picks up the changes. So what am I missing that keeps the BMT data saved. I have TVDB set for my meta information. The weird thing is all the files have the same METADATA ID which links back to TVDB, but there are different Sage Series ID numbers. So how do I get the show data from changing and no matter what how do I get Sage to always honor the name given in the TVDB and keep that as the Show Title. Fanart title always stays with TVDB, though. And I have the preseve orginal metadata box unchecked.

The only think that i can think of, is perhaps, you don't have .properties files being created. Sometimes, I find that SageTV will "forget" your metadata and periodically re-load it from the .properties. So, make sure you have .properties for your shows. They are normally created automatically, but you can also turn off the creation of .properties.

I actually have .my files and .properties turned on. Thinking that if one didn't didn't get it maybe the other would help out, but prior to that I just had .properties on. What I didn't have have was the overwrite and save meta to the DB, so we'll see if that does it.
