Change Tuner Order

I have a PVR 350, PVR 250 and a AverMedia M150. No mater what order I setup the cards in SageTV, the AverMedia card is listed as either my 1st or 2nd tuner in the Schedual.

How can I set it up so the AverMedia card is only used when the other 2 are busy? I think the PQ is beter on the PVR cards.

See SageTV Configuration Properties from the SageTv Configuration page. Look at mmc/encoders/XXX/encoder_merit - higher values = higher priority.

Make sure you make any properties changes while SageTV is not running.

Set the merit in the properties file

mmc/encoders/XXX/encoder_merit - used to determine which capture device is 'preferred' when all other things are equal, higher numbers mean better
