FWIW-HD200 Sudden Slow Browsing of Videos-How I Fixed
I noticed when I added some HD rips to my videos that all of a sudden the horizontal thumbnails would stop side scrolling, the menu would not go up and down, halted browsing, SWOD, etc.
I see others posting about slow-downs of their units. Here is what I stumbled on:
In my case, taking the thumbnail count from 4 to 1 solved the issue. I don't know if processing 4 thumbnails per folder line was too much all of a sudden after I added a bunch of videos, if it was because they were HD videos vs. DVD menus so they were harder to render, if I crossed a magic number of thumbs, or memory usage, or what.
Just something to keep in mind; can't speak to HD300. Never had it with my PC clients. Just noticed it and stumbled on a work-around with my HD200.
