Upgrade to Sage 7 isn't free?
I was using Sage 6 for maybe a couple of years (??) until a few days ago someone on this forum said that v7 was a free upgrade. I installed v7 and tried to register using my old keys - I think I have a v5 key and a v6 key? - can't recall, all I know is that these were the keys I used with v6 for a long, long time. After entering those two keys, I then get the message:
"You currently have a pre-V7 SageTV key installed. You will need to purchase an upgrade key to use this version beyond the trial period." So the upgrade isn't free after all? How do I purchase a v7 key? The SageTV store seems to be offline, as an apparent consequence of the Google acquisition.

You need to replace your executable with the one in the sticky above, and then your v6 license key will work

Read this link for the modified exes to replace after your V7 install/upgrade.
http://forums.sagetv.com/forums/showthread.php?t=56225 Follow those directions then the V5/V6 key will work
