ir still records dont likes...

no sooner then i make a post saying "sage works great" i see something very interesting. despite this little bug sage is still great

i wake sage, select recorded tv, scroll down the list of recently recorded shows, and i find aqua teen hungerforce was recorded just an hour ago.. this normally wouldnt be a problem, i'd just set it dont like and delete it. however ive already done that. this is what i seen when i entered the recorded tv section.

i vividly remember setting ALL (via additional airings) aqua teen hungerforce episodes dont like at least a month ago. i thought it was so stupid (first time i had seen it was w/sage) and set them all dont like asap. sage knew these programs were marked 'dont like' (they had black borders before ir recorded them) and it still recorded them.

im not using the aggressive ir setting, however i will be changing to that soon, i just wanted to make note of this incase anyone had some insight.

I also saw this problem before setting:

aggressive_negative_profiling=true

Set this a couple of weeks ago and have not looked back since. IR seems to work much better now.

I would also like to see an option that would let you mark all episodes of a show as don't like. It would work much like the favorite command but for don't like. This would elliminate having to mark all future episodes in the Add'l Airings screen.

That's really strange -- I've got a lot of don't like shows, but I've never seen one recorded like that! Wierd...

I tried the aggressive_negative_profiling=true setting, but I must have too many shows marked as don't like, since it caused IR to record almost nothing. Edit: See my results in this thread: Aggressive Negative IR Profiling

While that exact option is available, malore's STV enables you to look at your show history & mark entire (series for which it has info) as don't like.
