sagex-api - how can I tell if it works?
I would like to install the plugin for XBMC that uses the web interface exposed by sagex-api.
I have sagex-api installed. I have version 7.1.9.3 installed. But I can't seem to get it to work from a browser. But I think it is installed correctly because it says other plugins need it and they seem to be working correctly. So, is there a way that I can tell if it is installed and working? Is there some configuration somewhere to allow an outside program to get access to the web services? Thanks Greg |

You also need sagex-services plugin - this is the plugin that actually adds sagex support to the Jetty web server.
You know it's working when you go to /sagex/api on your web server and you get a response (as opposed to a 404 not found error). As for letting other apps at it, you just need to make sure the Jetty web server port is not being blocked from incoming connections on the Sage server.
