Second Sage Server - I had no idea

A couple days ago I put a second Sage server together (Trial) in a VM on my Mac to test my HDHomerun Prime and added the recording directories of my Sage server as video imports just to have some stuff in there: all the recordings from my main box started showing up under TV, including the meta data, as archived recordings. Only the recordings in progress are under Video.

This is quite neat, I had no idea. When did this come about?

Starting with Sage7 all metadata is stored in the actual recording so even if the wiz.bin gets wiped (or in your case is new) it will repopulate the recordings where they belong.

There are some things that don't transfer. Like watched status, tuner that recorded video and I believe the channel the video was recorded on. The biggest difference is that SageTV will record the file again because the new server has no record of it having been recorded before. Assuming that the new server has a favorite defined that matches one on the old server.
