EPG for multiple user's?

I didn't notice if this feature existed or not, but one thing I liked about my Dish network receiver was being able to have a Favorite channels list for several different user's. This way the kids would look at a epg channel list tailored to them, I would have a list for myself, ect. This also allowed me to only have the EPG showing the channels I cared about and hide the other one's, same thing for the kids only showing channels they cared about when they were using the tv.

Is this possible with Sage? Thanks.

It has been a few months on this question. I guess I'm surprised nobody else sees a use for this capability? I happened to be reading the .pdf document posted in another thread a while back regarding the teehan-lax UI design, and having the EPG be able to change based on user context was one of their recommendations. (Changing the guide based on theme was also a recommendation). I know the channels I look for are often quite different than my kids and wife, so being able to change the channel guide based on who was looking at it would help filter out unnecessary channels depending on the user.

I suppose at this point I would just wonder if it were possible to create this capability using Studio (if/when it is available)...

It is *technically* possible. My STV writes the Favorites to the Registry, so I would imagine that it could write the channels list to the Registry.... but then, the scheduler might not like it.

It's a great idea and one definitely worth looking into.
