Help with new configuration issues

I finially got tired of trying to get my HTPC to output to my RPTV and moved it upstairs to my computer room hooked up to a 18" digital display.

In this new location I have a SA cable box connected via coax (set as TV Tuner) to my PVR 250. I set everything up but I now have two problems.

1) I have no settings to activate my USB UIRT
2) The cable box outpust to channel 3 therefore Sage version 2 only receives on channel 3. When I change the cable box manually the channels change in Sage.

How can I get Sage to be able to tune to the desired channel and get my UIRT back?

try deleting your sources and readding them
you will need to use the ir blaster on the USB UIRT to change channels on the cable box
and just a suggestion but why not go Svideo or at least RCA rather than coxial
you will get only mono sound will coxial and box and the color is terrible
I did not think I would notice it either until I tried it then BAM blacks were actually black

The cable box does not have anything but coax in and out. I did delete the source and re-add it. I think the problem is that when Sage is set to "TV Tuner" it must disable the IR function.

Also since the cable box outputs on channel 3 how do I get the pvr250 card to stay set at ch 3 and Sage to chnage the cable box only?

What you want to do is go through the setup wizard and select:

1) Your tuner (whatever it's called)

2) TV Tuner

3) Use External Cable or Satillite....
