ASUS A7N8X-E Dlx onboard SATA & PCI slot RAID CTRL
I believe I incorrectly said this sysbrd would allow booting from an onboard SATA controlled HD (JBOD or RAID0 or RAID1 doesn't matter) with a PCI slotted RAID controller in the system. Can't do it without disabling the slotted Raid ctrlr's bios. The sysbrd BIOS only allows selecting "SCSI" for a boot device, not which SCSI device. Since both the onboard SATA and slotted SATA are seen as SCSI, only the first to ini their bios can boot. I contacted ASUS and they have no plans to modify the BIOS to correct this limitation.
