Tuner setup question

I had a major mishap and had to rebuild my HTPC. Anyway, in setting up Sage, the only tuner listed is WinTV PCI II. I could have sworn that before the listing was for my PVR-350. Is this a problem?

Thanks,

Dennis

I would think it is. My 350 is shown as Hauppauge WinTV PVR PCI II Capture. Do you have other TV cards besides the 350? Have you checked the properties file to make sure the 350 is not being ignored?

when installing how did you install it ?
did you uninstall the stupid ! mark in the device manager or what?
was this off a frexh install of windows?

you should just use the inf from hauppauge when the device manager finds the new hardware after uninstalling the damn ! mark

than install the update

you can though now use unregister, bat and hcw.clear.exe in that order and reinstall after a reboot

just use advanced then browse for the inf which you should unzip before this
and hit ok then next until finished

I have posted this instructions many times
ok thats it FAQ
soon
