Sage Launches With CMD (DOS) Window

I like Sage 1.4. I like it better; I'm just weird that way. But it launches a CMD/DOS window (XP) when it launches. It does go away when I close Sage, but sticks around otherwise. Any ideas?

Are you running sagetv.exe directly or via a .bat file?

Just clicking on the icon or selecting it from the Programs menu.

That seems very odd, I can't recal ever seeing or hearing about anything like that. Does the dos box say anything? What does the icon link to? What OS are you running?

As I mentioned, I'm running XP. The DOS box doesn't say anything. It does have "SageTV" in the title bar.

I am still running SageTV 1.4 also. That sounds like the Sage win without the UI or the video. Are you getting another SageTV window besides that one?

Yeah, the regular SageTV window where I can check the guide, setup, watch TV, etc. Both come up.

Does this "Dos" window have 3 (min, full, close) icons in the upper right corner or just 2 (min, close) like the SageTV window? Have you tried just closing that window to see what happens? It is definitely an adnormal condition.
